Save the Dates!
June 3 - 9, 2012
Ghost Ranch, Northern New Mexico
Dear Friends and Fellow Writers,
Welcome to Las Dos Brujas Writers’ Workshops!
Ensconced in the stunning landscapes of northern New Mexico, we present a brand-new early summer conference of week-long workshops, craft talks, and evening readings by a small group of influential, dedicated, and diverse voices in American and international literature. Our program combines morning workshops with afternoons open for writing, hiking, horseback riding, lectures, photography, swimming and exploring Ghost Ranch—a 21,000-acre swath of heaven that was once a part-time home to painter Georgia O’Keefe.
For one week in June, it will be ours!
Whether you’re interested in the full array of our workshop options, or simply seeking the quiet refuge of our residency-only program, you can be assured that your creative writing will begin to coalesce in exciting new directions. As both artistic director and past faculty member of numerous literary conferences, I sought to create a more intimate-sized community of open-minded, trailblazing writer-teachers and participants who will make a difference in literature, and each other’s lives.
Please join me, Chris Abani, Denise Chávez, Kimiko Hahn, Juan Felipe Herrera, and other very special guests for an unforgettable experience.
Again, a warm bienvenidos!
Cristina García
Founder and Artistic Director
